About Michelle

Michelle has been drawing, painting and making stories since childhood.  She spent a summer studying art and illustration at Rhode Island School of Design and did her undergraduate education at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.  She then returned to Long Island to become a reporter for newspapers. During her six years as a journalist she lived in Southampton, Queens, New Jersey and Philadelphia. She loved interviewing people and finding quirky stories. She has shown her work in group shows in New York and sells work at markets and shops in New York City. She loves the city, the country, family, friends, running, music, food, wine, and making things.  She makes her home in Brooklyn.
